BQ24610: No battery charge

Part Number: BQ24610

Dear Community,

i bought an BQ24619EVM and tried to get it started. I want to charge only one battery cell to 4,2V.

I connected 24V to the AC input, 1,8V to the TS terminal and the battery (actual 3,5V) to the bat terminal. i just changed the resistence for the feedback pin to adjust the output voltage to 4,2V. nothing connected to Vsys.

Setting (Enabling) the CHGEN jumper: PG, ACDRIVE, Stat1, CE are lightning

Vsys 24V

Vbat 3,5V

Vcc 24V

Stat1 0,03V

Stat2 3,4V

ISET1 0,6V

ISET2 0,3V

ACDRV 19V

CHGEN 3,3V

ACSET 0,8V

BATDRV 23,4V

TS 1,8V

REGN 6V

SRN 3,5V

SRP 3,5V

ACN 24V

ACP 24V

Ibat -0,005A

When i control the gate signal of the mosfets, i can see a solid high level on each gate. Im confused about the gate level: I expecteda PWm signal, not solidlevels. Furthermore the gate level is the battery voltage. Batter connected -> 3,5V battery disconnected -> 0V

Please help me.

Kind regards,

Marc
