UCC28064A: Difference between PUCC28064D and UCC28064ADR

Part Number: UCC28064A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28064,
Hello

I have a question about UCC28064.

We are evaluating PUCC28064D.

The device currently in mass production is UCC28064ADR.

What is the difference between PUCC28064D and UCC28064ADR such as electrical characteristics?

Thank you.
  • Sorry, I am not understanding your questoin. What is PUCC28064D? Where did you get this part number? Can you contact the person gave you the part number PUCC28064D to check the difference.
  • Hello

    I'm sorry.

What is the difference between UCC28064D and UCC28064AD, such as electrical characteristics?

    Thank you.
  • - In UCC28064A after the Brown out Protection is tripped the IC stay off for a minimum time of 450ms it is called tBORST. IC is forced to stay off for this time even if input voltage exceeds Brown-in threshold.
    - In UCC28064 after BO is tripped if input voltage rises soon exceeding Brown in threshold IC restart again. This was causing some bouncing at AC Line Power off so it was introduced the tBORST time.

    - In UCC28064 we also fixed a bug of UCC28064.
o In some specific conditions at load transient when going out from burst Bode the soft start were activated causing slow transient response.
o This was fixed in UCC28064A
