TPS3705: Use an external switch to control watchdog function

Hi team,

From TPS3705 datasheet it says: Leaving WDI unconnected disables the watchdog. Can I use a SPDT switch to control the watchdog function?

If I want to disable the watchdog, I control the SPDT and leave it float.

Jeff,

This should work fine, an SPDT configuration with one of the options leaving this pin floating and one connected should allow you to control the watchdog how you've intended.
