Attached is the bottom marking "8AX" for LM4040AIM3-10.0/NOPB?

Angie,

The bottom marking for the device is related to the year/date the device was produced in as well as assembly information. This should not affect anything on the customer end. The device marking on top of the package is more important, and those characters are defined in the datasheet.
