TPS23752: IBIS Model

Part Number: TPS23752

Hi,

Need IBIS Model for TPS23752, to check for EMC simulation. Please let me know which model suits for my requirement.

  • Hello,

In order to evaluate the functionality of this IC, I recommend that you order a TPS23752EVM-145 evaluation module.

Thank you for your interest in Texas Instruments PoE products.

  • Hi Brett,

Thanks for your response. We built boards using PoE chip and seeing failures in EMI. Need to identify which portion has more interference, so it will be helpful if we have IBIS model for simulation, before building new boards.

  • Hello,

Thank you for the information. In order to improve EMI performance of your board, I recommend you take a look at the Practical Guidelines to Designing an EMI Compliant PoE Powered Device with Isolated Flyback application note (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua469/slua469.pdf) which outlines key considerations when designing for EMI compliance and has recommendations for improving EMI. Please feel free to review this document and let me know if having any additional questions.

  • HI Brett,

Thanks for sharing this information. But the problem is we do see EMI failures in board which we built earlier, we are working on re-building layout in that we need to check in simulation before we Fab new board.

That's the reason i was checking for IBIS model to be included in the simulation. Please let me know your feedback on the same.

  • Varadharajan,

May I ask what the end equipment is in this case? And what EMI performance are you attempting to achieve?

In order to accelerate helping you in this case, we would be happy to review your schematics and layout for suggested changes. Perhaps we should setup a conference call in order to discuss this more deeply.

Thank you for using PoE solutions from Texas Instruments,
  • Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your response and support. I'm not sure on the end application, i'm intended to perform EMI simulation for DB which has PoE and power supply for the same. Noise margin goes upto 110dB, since we doesn't include any models in the simulation.

Since it is confidential information, we cannot share schematic & Layout outside the organization, sorry for that. It will be grateful if you share IBIS model with us to perform simulation.

  • Varadharajan,

We do not have an IBIS model available for this device. If unable to share schematics and layout, I am afraid we have provided the best support possible in this case.

Thank you for using PoE solutions from Texas Instruments,
