Can you provide the documentation of the newly added register for bq78350-r1 upgrade to bq78350-r2?I am in

"Bq78350-r1 TRM Addendum for the bq78350-r2 Device/bq78350-r1 & r2.pdf"

Many registers are not provided in the document. Is there any other technical document about bq78350-r2?

What does figure HT mean?

    The only document available currently is the TRM Addendum. I will try to highlight all of the Register differences below and will look into adding these to the documentation in the future.

    • Operation Status A: PDSG bit added (indicates Pre-Discharge FET is enabled). The SAFE and HCFET bits have shifted over on spot as a result
    • Temp Range: The R2 has more temperature ranges defined by T1 Temp -T6Temp . As a result, this register has changed: 
    • R1: OT HT ST LT UT  (over-temp, high-temp, standard temp, low temp, under temp)
    • R2: OT HT STH RT STL LT UT (over-temp, high-temp, standard-temp-high, recommended-temp, standard-temp-low, low-temp, under-temp)
    • Charging Status: MCHG added (maintenance Charging current). Voltage ranges have changed:
      • R1: FCHG PCHG (fast charge, pre-charge)
      • R2: HV MV LV PV (high-voltage, medium-voltage, low-voltage, pre-charge voltage) These are defined by the Voltage Ranges in data flash.
    • Manufacturing Status: PDSG_EN bit has been added

  • OT HT ST LT UT represent the ranges set by the Temperature Ranges in data flash. See section 2.5 and Section 5.6 of the BQ78350-R1 Technical Reference Manual for a visual description and the corresponding data flash locations. These are indicators of which range the measured temperature is currently in.

    UTD UTC OTD OTC are fault condition indicators. (Under-temperature during Discharge, Under-temperature during Charge, ...)
