TPS82740A: Alternative solution for TPS82740ASIPR

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating TPS82740ASIPR in a smart band project. But the 1.1 mm max height is still too high. So do we have any other solution that is within 0.8mm height? The other requirement is as below:

The input is 3.3V~4.2V.

The output is 3.3V/1mA and 1.9V/1mA. 

The package can be different with TPS82740ASIPR but the length and width cannot be larger.

    Hi Wayne,

    Yes, for a lower profile solution it is best to NOT stack the components vertically in a module. We need to use a discrete design.

    The TPS62743 is a discrete device with the same Iq. They can be shorter but will be slightly larger in x-y.

    The TPS62808/2 is a smaller discrete device that can also have lower height. So, it is smaller overall. The Iq is a bit higher, but this should not affect the efficiency at 1mA very much.
