TPS2410: TURNON DELAY

Hi Team,

My Japanese customer has a question about TPS2410. The question is below:

Please tell us about the TPS2410 turnon delay.

In the datasheet figure 5, turn-on delay is 32us typ at 25°C.

There is no specification of max, but how much should it be considered?

Please give me an indication.

Hi Liu Yang,

At 5V Vdd, turn ON delay at 25C is 32us and it varies from 23us (Tj -40C) to 41us (Tj 125C) across temperature.

This is -30% to 30% variation across temperature.

We have not guaranteed this specification across temperature in the datasheet.

So based on the application, additional margin needs to be added.

We recommend to keep >50% margin in addition to the 30% temperature variation.
