Can TPS2511-Q1 be used with D+/D- unused?

My customer is considering using it as a simple USB switch, because it is the cheapest USB switch with adjustable current limit. if there is any concern, please let me know.

Hi ,

How much current do you want to use ? We don't suggest use this part but you can choose tps2553(1.8A ) and tps25221(2A) for this application.

It is 1.5A for DCP. TPS2511-Q1 is the cheapest among Q1 products.

Hi ,

Understood, you can try to use it . The DP/M pin don't impact the current limit behavior.
