UCC28056: recommendation proper IC

Hi

We are working on  300w telecom rectifier .

Plz recommend TI's PFC and DC-DC control IC. and share any manual sheet for design.

This is our specification.

1. input : 220V ( 180V~264V)

2.output : 53.5V , 5.5A

3.Power : almost 300W ( 250~300W)

3. effi.: over 90%  ( at 220v)

4. power factor : over 90% (at 220v)

5. protection : OCP , OVP , brown-in , out

    PMP21160 is a 336W PFC + LLC design, with efficiency 94.87% at 230Vac and full load. PFC is on UCC28056, and LLC on UCC256304.

    Thank you for recommendation.

    Could you plz tell me why you recommend these IC?

    Is there any merit compare to TI's other ICs.

    One more question. 

    When PSU is at light load , UCC256304 enters burst mode.

    But I want to operate normal mode even at light mode.

    Could you tell us some solution for normal mode.   We need any extra circuit? or remove and tuning?

    The recommendation meets your specs. Please provide all your key specs at one time so we can work out the closest
    Recommendation for you. You did not ask no burst at light load. What else you need to have or not like ?

    input

    voltage : 170~264V
    Freq . : 57~64Hz
    PF : 0.9 at 230v full load

    output
    voltage : 53.5v (regulation tol 2%)
    current : 5.2A
    Effi : over 90%
    power : 300w

    Protection

    input UVP : under 150V / recovery voltage : under 170v
    input OVP : OVER 280V / recovery voltage : OVER 270v

    OCP Point : 5.3A
    OVP Point : 58V
    UVP Point : 46V
    SCP

    All protection have to operate on auto recovery mode excluding OVP.

    OVP have to operate on latch.

    Do you still need no burst at light load?
    Do you have other special requirements, such no burst, in addition to the listed?

    What are your protection specs tolerance and allowed time delay? For example, for input UVP, how much time is allowed to detect this fault, and allowed variation of 150V threshold? Similar for other specs so need to show details for eacch.

    "OVP have to operate on latch" - which OVP, input or output, or both? What is latch release/reset requirement?

    If we cannot find a device to cover all your specs, do you accept adding external circuit to meet your specs?

    Do you consider digital solution in case we cannot find a proper analog solution? If your application volume is high, it is better that you contact your TI local sales office to get help such as to request a reference design to cover all your specs needed.
