BQ34Z100-G1: BQ34Z100-G1 SOC read delay

Dear All:

I use the BQ34Z100-G1 in my E-bike BMS application. I find that when i first connect Pack to the PCB board ， I could only read the SOH，not read the SOC，on the connection, it will take 7~8s to read the SOC。

can you help explain the what cause the result？Thanks~

Hi Big Bill,

On the bench the device is normally up in ~2-3 seconds. 7-8s seems to be a bit long and I'm not able to reproduce. May wish to look into the host and how its handling communications.

Try only reading the SOC when the device comes up, if other values are being read as well.
