Part Number: LM53635-Q1

Dear all,

one of my AA, is interested to know if the LM53635-Q1 can sustains the following pulse test:

ISO 7637 Test 1

ISO 7637 Test 2a

ISO 7637 Test 3a

ISO 7637 Test 3b

In case the part cannot sustain them. Can you suggest any alternative p/n ?

Hi Domenico,

The LM53635-Q1 has a maximum recommended voltage of 36V. To survive transients greater than 36V, you will need to add an input transient protection. This is standard to pass the ISO 7637 pulses. You can see an example line transient protection circuit in this applications note: www.ti.com/.../snva717.pdf
