What do we have to compete with the LT3598? I'm particularly interested in something that regulates LED current even when the input voltage is higher than the LED output voltage.

Hi Bravos,
You can refer to LP8863 sepic topology which can support vin is larger than vout or you can refer to LP8556 with the boost topology but this can't regulate the output current when vin is higher than vout.
