hi all,

the new project required: VIN=18~36VDC VOUT=28V IOUT=5A

the application of LM5176 or LM5175 is suit for this project? and also give me some other application? Please give me some recommendations.

Dear Sir,
To my knowledge, LM5176 is more fit for your application. For the new product, we recommend customer use LM5176 instead of LM5175.

other question: my design VIN=18~36dc, vout=28V Iout=5A f=300KHZ.

why webench calculate the L is 6.7uH , but according to the LM5176 datasheet calculate the Lbuck (10.37uH), the Lboost(9.18uH)? which one is right and best ？

Dear Sir,
The inductor value can be a range. It is based on the ripple current, if a bigger ripple current allowed, then a small inductance can be chosen. You can select the inductance according to the datasheet.
