TPS2595: Do we have E-fuse solution can immediately disconnect the load after the over-current event happening?

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating the TPS259531 in the USB Vbus over-current protection function. They tested our EVM and set the current limit to 2A. As TPS2595 will disconnect the load based on the detection of device temperature, customer thought the time is too long from over-current event happening to disconnecting the load. So I just want to check with you do we have any other E-fuse solution can immediately disconnect the load as soon as the over-current event happening instead of waiting for the temperature goes high? Thanks.

Hi Wayne,

Most of our eFuse devices turn OFF after reaching Thermal Shutdown threshold.
There are three eFuse devices (TPS2590, TPS2420 and TPS25982) which have Circuit Breaker operation where the fault duration can be programmed using an external timer capacitor.
