Need AECQ switching regulator/ LDO parts availabe

Hi,

I am exploring switching regulator/ LDO options available with TI.

Request you to recommend the parts suitable for following requirements:

1.      Input voltage: 4V To 12V  

2.      Max. Output current: 1.5A  

3.      Output voltage: 5V  

4.      Small footprint/ package & requiring less discrete components  

5.      Junction Temp 150dC & AEC Qualified

     Hello Prachi,  

    I encourage you to use WEBENCH POWER DESIGNER for your power supply: https://webench.ti.com/power-designer/switching-regulator   .  

    From the parameters you specified, WEBENCH generated 15 different designs for the 5VOUT/1.5A supply.  Based on what are most important criteria for this design, you can then sort the choices, compare topologies and parameters, selecting the design that best meets your needs. For example, if pcb space is a concern, you can sort the designs by Smallest Footprint.  Also note that you suggested LDO as a solution, but VIN is < VOUT, so an LDO is not included in the designs, as a boost function must be provided. 

    If, after this process, you have additional questions, you can post a new E2E thread based on the device and topology you have selected.
