I am looking at using the TPS25940 or the TPS25942 as an ideal diode, hotswap and efuse controller. Block diagram embedded below.
Requirements:
- prevent reverse currents from 3.3VA bus to 3.3V regulator.
- allow for hot insertion of PSU0 or PSU1 (refer to image) preventing glitches on 3.3VA bus.
- shut off FET if 3.3V regulator OVs.
- shut off due to over current.
1) Which part do you recommend for this application?
2) Can the output of TPS2594x be connected to a bus voltage and ensure no glitch or droop on the bus?
