evm uses 4 layer pcb. can i develop it in 2 layer pcb. will it work or any issue

Hi Mohan,

The EVM uses 4 layers primarily for ease in bringing out test points for ease in evaluation and redundant power planes to reduce board resistance. You can make a two layer design. You can generally follow the 4 layer EVM top and bottom for most of the component placement and routing.

would there be switching noise problem if i use double layer PCB instead of 4 layer pcb

Mohan,

Since most EMI is from the top or bottom layers, I would not expect significantly more noise from a 2 layer vs 4 layer board. However, poor placement of the buck converter input capacitors or a large SW/PH copper area might cause more EMI.
