TPS55165-Q1: Boost Problem

Hi, I'm having troubles using TPS55165 in boost mode, when input voltage is under 15V, the output is aprox. 10.2V, I tried with and without load. it works fine in buck mode.

When i'm in low power mode works in both buck and boost.

Hi Rafael,

It is the weekend so you may need to wait until next Monday to get our expert's replies. I would like to clarify one thing: your circuit seems set up for 12V output. Why do you say your 15V input was a boost operating condition? Just want to make sure the 15V is not a typo.

Then what's your issue? It can't be in boost mode? could you please describe the issue in detail?

Sorry for the late reply, the problem is that I get 12V in the output only when input voltage is 15V or higher.

Dear Sir,

You need to make sure the VinL signal is clean and the Vreg-Q is very clean. I can't check your layout in detail. Please refer to the HVL143B_PCB.zipattached pcb of TPS55165 for a reference.
