TPS790: Active Low Enable LDO VREG

Part Number: TPS790
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS775, TPS773, TPS766, TPS774

Hello,

I am searching a LDO VREG similiar to TPS790 family: with Active Low Enable input.

Other features are Iout = 100-200 mA and Vout = 3.3V .

Thanks

Antonio

  • Hi Antonio,

What is your input needed on this application? I see the part you have specified has a Vin of 10V. Do you need 10V in your application?

If you don't I'd like to suggest LP5907MFX-3.3/NOPB as a good option.

If you do need 10Vin then LP2992AIM5-3.3/NOPB will be a good option.

    Regards,

    Wilson

  • Dear Wilson Thanks for your answer. Vin max is 5V.

The important feature is low.-active enable, the parts you suggested have both high-active enable as most LDO.

  • Hi Antonio,

Thank you for the information. The low-active enable (shutdown) function is not a common feature we have on our LDOs.

Unfortunately I was not able to find one in SOT-23 package. Here are some devices that do have this feature: TPS766, TPS773, TPS774, TPS775.

If these do not work then please consider using a supervisor or a logic-level chip in order to achieve this functionality as well as using an LDO.

    Regards,

    Wilson
