Hello,
is there any possibility to estimate the peak value of the body diode reverse recovery current if you use the settings as told in the datasheet?
Thank you.

Hi Catherine,
The body diode reverse recovery current is determined by the low-side FET. The Qrr value for a given forward current is typically provided in the MOSFET datasheet. If the reverse recovery pulse of current is assumed to be triangular, then Qrr =~ Irr*trr/2.
Fortunately, the LM5143-Q1 controller has a short deadtime - under 20ns - this helps to minimize the resultant recovery charge. You can also use the LM5143-Q1 quickstart calculator to examine MOSFET power losses, see www.ti.com/tool/lm5143design-calc.
