TPS22810: CT pin and QOD pin operation

Hello,

CT pin voltage seems to go low at the timing when QOD pin goes high. Does TPS22810 have a circuit to tie CT pin low when QOD goes high?

If above behavior assumes correct, does the threshold voltage compare with internal fixed reference voltage? Is there possibility to have another threshold?

A TPS22810 works differently from others. We are investigate it if the sample may be broken or something. We would like to know the above as the investigation reference.

    Thank you for reaching out to the E2E forum.

     

    The TPS228810 has an internal logic controller that controls the CT and QOD pins pins when the device is either enabled or disabled by the ON pin. The CT pin is high when the device is ON and low when it is not. For the QOD it is the opposite, QOD is high when device is OFF and low when the device is ON.

     

    Could I get a clarification on the application of this device? What is the operating voltage and the load current?

     

    Could I also get a clarification of what threshold voltage and what fixed reference voltage you are referring to.

     

    Lastly, you mentioned that a sample may be broken. What tests have you done to determine if the part is broken? Is it possible to run the same tests on a different unit and compare the results?
