BQ25890: Charge enable pin pull up to REGN

Part Number: BQ25890

Hello all,

In my design, I plan to keep the charge enable pin (pin 9) in high logic state at startup.

There is an option to connect CE to REGN output (through a 100k resister)

I'm a bit concern about the maximum voltage rating of CE (max 7V) while REGN voltage can reach to 6.4V (max), although there is a similar option in the BQ25890EVM (there is an option to jumper pin D+/PSEL to REGN pin through a 10K resistor, and D+/PSEL is also 7V maximum absolute rated)

Can I safely to pull CE to REGN with 100k resistor?

Thanks

Nir
