Hi
I have a question about BQ2000 from my customer.
If I inputted the voltage under 4V to Vcc, how does BQ2000 operate?
(ex. If I inputed 3.7V on Vcc, does this device stop charging?)
Best regards,
Yokota

Hi
Hi Yokota-san,
Yes device will stop charging if VCC is below 4V. If you refer to the state diagram on page 4 of the datasheet, VCC should be between 4V and 6V for IC to initiate charge, and only after initialization can IC enter charge qualification.
Hi
Hi Yokota-san,
This is an old part and we don't have specific information on the deglitch time for BQ2000 to detect out of range VCC to stop charging, as well as what the hysteresis voltage VCC requires to enter and exit charging. Customer will have to verify on their board.
