BQ40Z50-R1: Device reset after parameter changes

Is it necessary to sent 0x0041 command (Device Reset) after parameter change? If yes, which parameters are required to send device reset after change?

(for example - changing SBS Gauging Configuration [RSOCL] bit from '0' to '1', will it require a device reset for it to be activated?)

Hi Ravid,

Yes, we recommend a reset so that all gauging and protection parameters can be loaded on to the memory. Otherwise you run the risk of not having a config change updated as RAM won't be cleared and data reloaded from flash.
