TWL4030/TWL5030: Hotdie temperature

Hello,

 
The twl4030/5030 supports hotdie detection and threshold settings but is there a way to read the current die temperature?

    Hi Jerry,

    No. This is a protection mechanism and hence only detects the thresholds. Is there a specific need to measure the current temperature? Please let me know this use case.

    If it is something that is regularly used in industry then it will be a good feedback to our design teams.

    Hi Gandhar,

     

    right now it's just an internal software requirement for our program. 

    If T2 internally has that information it would be nice to expose it out to the world.  With DVFS and higher frequencies becoming more common place it may provide some value.
