BQSTUDIO: v1.3.92.3 doesn't work. "An error has occured" displays at the startup sequence. Log shows "FrameworkEvent ERROR".

Dear TI Experts,

I installed BQSTUIODTEST (v1.3.92.3) to access bq40z80.

The software crashes on every startup sequence and "FrameworkEvent ERROR" is recorded in log files.

Note: BQSTUDIO (v1.3.86.3) works fine.

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64

Is there any idea to solve it?

    Can you please give us a log of your installation. Also, can you please confirm if you installed this to a clean or new directory?

    Hello, I was also having an error message during startup. I uninstalled and deleted the BatteryManagementStudio directory (after reading Batt's question about clean directory) and reinstalled afterwards and now it is running.

    Apparently some bugs of the previous stable version have been fixed (I am working with BQ25713 EVAL board)

    Uninstalled all tools and removed all files (c:¥ti).

    After that, reinstalled v1.3.92.3 works successfully now.
