Hi, I am looking for the low voltage mosfet transistor ic.
I want to turn on/off LED with 100hz. LED voltage is 3.3V with 1A. I am going to use microcontroller and generate PWM (3.3V, 100hz) as a trigger.
I just tried to use TINA spice tool, The result seems wrong, but I don't know. LED (I just treat a resistor as LED here.) is already connected to the ground.
Would you recommend the application circuit and ICs? Thank you for your feedback.
In the circuit, you are using a resistor representing a diode, which is incorrect. When the FET is on, the 1k resistor will be much larger than the on resistance of the FET, which means most voltage will drop on the resistor and bring the source to 3.3V. The FET can’t be kept on since the Vgs is below threshold. Even with a LED diode, using an NMOS is not good since the forward voltage is ~2V, which make the Vgs to ~1.3V and it is not enough to keep the FET in linear region. A PMOS should be used for this.
