Hi,

Is there any other ways to monitor charging current than the voltage at the ISET? Is charging current information available in any register?

    Hello Juha,

    On the BQ25120A, the only way to measure the charge current is to monitor the voltage on ISET. This information is not available in any register apart from your charge current setting. If this is a feature you require, the BQ25150 is a 500mA linear charger with 100 mA LDO and a 16-Bit ADC. The ADC on the BQ25150 allows you to monitor different parameters like charge current, input current, battery voltage, input voltage, TS voltage and other system monitoring through I2C.
