Could you please tell me DiSEqC protocol ?

Q1.
Can TPS65235-1 convert I2C data to 22kHz tone signal and convert 22kHz tone signal to I2C data if transmitting and receiving with DiSEqC 2.x ?

Q2.
Can TPS65235-1 receive 22kHz tone signal via DIN pin(15 pin) ?

Q3.
Please tell me the recommended setting procedure for TPS65235-1 in detail if receiving DiSEqC1.x signal and performing LNB settings.

Q4.
I refer the following application note, so please let me know if there is a document that mentions the basic contents of DiSEqC.

Hi Kato,

Q1.

No, 22kHz tone signal is controlled by EXTM pin, not related to register nor I2C command.

Q2.

Yes, it can detect if there is tone signal on DIN pin, and reflect the status on DOUT pin. The output of DOUT pin is logic high or low.

Q3.

TPS65235-1 is just a power supply with tone generation capability here. For DiSEqC1.x design, please refer to the user's guide below.

Q4.

We don't have any further document about DiSEqC.
