Hi experts,

I would like to ask for below.

1)      Efficiency comparison between DEMB enable and DEMB disable.

2)      Any circuit that can only enable DEMB at light load.

3)      Any recommendation to further decrease the no load loss (example is burst mode)

    Hi Han,

    1. With DEMB enabled, the efficiency at light load condition will be higher. At heavy load condition, the efficiency is the same whether DEMB is enabled for disabled. 

    2. With DEMB enabled, the diode emulation mode is active only at light load mode. When inductor vallley current is higher than 0A, the diode emulation mode is disabled. 

    3. Burst mode is not available in the part.

    Hi Qian,

    Thanks for your support,by the way ,do you have efficiency data/graph with and without DEMB enable? When I tried to measure here there is around 5Watts difference.

    Hi Experts,

    Have you measured the TI LM5119 original EVM phase 1& 2 current waveform before with interleaved single output mode ?

    I have checked the phase 1 & 2 current & pwm waveform ,it happened the same issue (current unbalance at all load) on both of TI EVM and customer designed  board.

    Can you give us some suggestions ,thanks.
