TPS51200: REFOUT carry load question

Hi Guys

One question about TPS51200 REFOUT:
There is an FPGA REF about ～20mA load demand, customer wants to directly receive the REFOUT PIN to take power. Can we apply by this way, is there any risk or some considerations?

    Hi Pengfei, 

    The minimal current limit of REFOUT is 10mA. We also tested REFOUT regulation up to 10mA.

    If we add 20mA load on REFOUT, the voltage regulation can not be guaranteed. 

    Because VTT voltage follow REFOUT, the VTT voltage will be affected if REFOUT regulation is bad. 

    In summary, I don't recommend to add 20mA load on REFOUT.
