TPS1663: Setting time of over current

About TPS1663 and TPS2663,

 

Is there a function that allows me to adjust the time so that it will not shut off immediately when an over current (inrush current) comes in?

    Hello Dice-K,

    TPS1663 and 2663 devices, if the current is less than 2x18/RILIM, the device remains in current limiting for a time of tCL_PLIM(dly), (=162ms). But the device can shutdown earlier due to over temperature.

    If the current is more than 2x18/RILIM, the device shuts down within 3.2us (typ)

    Please refer to section 9.3.4 in the datasheet of TPS1663.

    But there is no external configuration available to change the delay time in case of overload or over-current.
