Dear TI'S:

Custom use bq79606q1 application of Lithium carbonate battery,  Lithium battery voltage usually form 1.5v to 2.2v. some point must to be consider.

1. how to work with bq79606q1?  i mean it need 4 series at lease . but when the battery goto undervoltage ,for example the voltage drop down to 1V,  what's the affect ?

2. the accuracy. the datasheet shows: temp range:-40~105°C, voltage:2.0V~5.0V, the accuracy about 3.77mv max. i want to know the accuracy maybe 1.0-5.0V  or 0-5.0V? And the customer wants to confirm whether the accuracy range includes the aged data.

    Hello,

    Thank you for choosing bq79606a.

    1)The min operation voltage for bq79606a is 5.5V. Below this point, the functionalities are not guaranteed.

    2)Then you should refer to VACC_5 or Full as below.

     

    Actually bq79606a is not designed for this kind of cell. Another limitation for application is that min cell should be no less than 2V to ensure functionality

    of cell balancing.
