Hello,

Customer is asking for short descriptions of the following:

1. Tstg Storage temperature range
2. TA Operating ambient temperature range
3. TJ Virtual junction temperature range – on which junction this temperature is achieved?
4. TJ Operating junction temperature range

For 1 & 2, we have a document that defines these (https://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/telligent-evolution-components-attachments/00-14-01-00-00-99-01-86/Understanding-Op-Amp-Parameters.pdf). While this is for an opamp, the same definition applies for all devices -- is this correct?

For 3 & 4, however, I can't find a document. Can you please help me?

Which application did customer use TPS92638-Q1? Who is the customer and car OEM?

To be frankly, Tj should be within -40C - 150C, this is what we can guarantee.

The customer is from -- and is just requesting for the definition of these parameters as they want to understand it better. They do not need the values.

1. TJ Virtual junction temperature range
The term "virtual-junction temperature" is used interchangeably with the term "junction temperature". This applies to every junction in this device

2. TA Operating ambient temperature range
The temperature range beyond which damage occurs to the device. The device may not function or meet expected performance if the ambient temperature is out of this range

3. Tstg Storage temperature range
The temperature range beyond which damage occurs to the device. The device may not function or meet expected performance if the device is stored out of this range

4. TJ Operating junction temperature range
The temperature range beyond which damage occurs to the device. The device may not function or meet expected performance if the junction temperature out of this range
