TPS61178: output short issue

Hi Tis guys
TPS61178 has output short circuit protection In the specification,

But I can't realize the output short-circuit function of TPS61178,  if there are any suggestions for me, thx

    Hi Jack:

    The capacitance after the external FET should no larger than 10X Cap before the FET. Or there will be a larger inrush current during the PFET turn on.

    And for your waveform, it doesn't look like short current protect. I afraid it trigger UVLO or disable during the test and restart all time.

    Please catch the waveform of the input voltage, SW, EN together with Vgs. If limited by the equipment, please try to keep the test in same condition. Thank you!
