LM25011: large output capacitor using

Part Number: LM25011

I would like to know the possibility of device damaged.

Vin:34V, Vout:26V, Fsw:500kHz

Our customer confirmed device damaged at start up timing with no load condition.

This occurs when aluminum electrolytic 100uF capacitor and 10uF ceramic capacitor are used. This doesn't occur without 100uF aluminum cap.

And we have added 10 ohm BST resistor for reducing SW peak voltage.

It seemed that device is damaged by double on pulse that FET turns on just after short off time at start up timing.

Do you have any idea about this cause that device is damaged?

Kohei Sasaki
