Hi,
The customer design now connect EN pin to VIN through a 10kohm resistor so that the device is enabled whenever there's a valid VIN, Is it better or worse to implement a 10kohm here? How to judge what is a better value here?
Thanks!
Antony

Hello Antony,
10kohm is a good value to connect EN to VIN.
To enable the TPS62740 when VIN is valid, you can also use a resistor bridge which will provide a lower voltage at EN than VIN. You just need to make sure when you think VIN (5.5V>VIN>2.2V) is acceptable for the device to turn on then voltage at EN is at least 1.1V.
If you have any other questions, please ask!
Best Regards,
Dorian
