TPS61196: 32" eDP panel

Part Number: TPS61196

Hi Sir

Our spec is 8 string / 120mA per string  / 46.8Vout

May I know the best solution is TPS61196 or you have another suggestion

if have to use 2 pcs of TPS61196 to do , how to do for unused pin

  • Hi Kai,

Yes, for such high current application, TPS61196 is a good solution. You can refer to datasheet Figure 22 for Multi-Chip solution.

If the application requires less than six LED strings, the TPS61196 simply requires connecting the unused IFB pin to ground through a resistor between 20 kΩ and 36 kΩ. Once the TPS61196 is turned on, the TPS61196 uses a 60-μA current source to detect the IFB pin voltage. If the IFB voltage is between 1 V and 2.5 V, the device immediately disables this string during start-up.
