BQ24773: pre-charge current, termination current

Our customer asked about bq24773 current setting range, setting step, tolerance, for pre-charge and termination current respectively.

    Hi Toshiro,

    The pre-charge current information is given in the EC table. Section 8.6.6 in the datasheet also provides some more information on this.

    When VBAT < BATLOWV (for 1-cell charging) or VBAT < VSYS_MIN (for 2-4 cell charging), the battery charge current is clamped below 384 mA for safety reasons. VBAT must rise above these voltage thresholds in order to apply the full fast charge current.

    There is no built-in termination current setting. The host is responsible for controlling the termination current as desired.
