Could you please provide 1s battery efficiency data with our customer.
Does it placed on Figure 1 to Figure 3 in the datasheet ?

Hi Toshiro,
Yes, you can use Figures 1 and 2 in the datasheet to estimate the efficiency when charging a battery. Figure 1 shows an input voltage of 5 V or 12 V, while Figure 2 shows an input voltage of 19 V.
However, please note that the efficiency when charging a battery will be very slightly lower than the efficiency shown in Figures 1 and 2 because there is a BATFET between SYS and BAT. During charging, the BATFET will have a small voltage drop across it due to its Rdson. The small amount of power dissipated by the BATFET causes slightly lower efficiency and is not shown in Figures 1 and 2 in the datasheet.
Best regards,
Angelo
Thank you.
I understand that as long as external BATFET, RSR are not fixed, we do not know exact efficiency data according to your answer.
By the way, would it be possible to let us know the external FET parts number when you tested the load efficiency posted in Figure 1 to Figure 4 as his reference.
best regards,
Hey Toshiro,
Please refer to the BQ24773EVM User Guide for a complete list of components used for testing the efficiency, including Power Stage MOSFETs, inductor, and sensing resistors.
