My customer is really interested at TPS561208 but would like to understand why Vout_max is 7V and cannot go higher just by adding properly sized resistor divider on the FB pin, being the Vin up to 17V and max duty cycle 80%. I expected max Vout could reach at least 13V. But I may be missing something.
Customer is really interested to have higher Vout so he can scale this p/n to other projects otherwise this p/n would be only used for this particular application. And as you know for customer is easier to manage one p/n rather than 2 or more.
Can someone technically explain the reason of the low Vout up to 6.5V? Also with some math formulas?
