LMZM23600: How to reduce delay between EN and Vout of LMZM23600

Part Number: LMZM23600

I read an answer to one of the customers question regarding time EN and Vout ,the delay between EN and Vout at Il=0.25A,V out= 5.0v is approximately 5ms. i am using  LMZM23600 as a replacement design to an existing design. LMZM23600 is quite apt for me because of its small size with given i/p and o/p specs. because of 5ms delay  built in test  is failing. is there any way i can reduce this delay? All i/p and o/p caps as suggested. linear regulator is hogging current because of low efficiency. pls advice.

  • Hi,

Can you explain to me what you are doing in your testing and what is your key concern during your built in test that is failing? If you have a schematic, can you please attach it for me to look at for reference. What is the LMZM23600 loading? By any chance are you sequencing the LMZM23600 with a linear regulator at the output?

I've attached the E2E post that I answered on the EN and VOUT delay time for reference.

  • Hi,

May I get an update on this? Is there any update on the failing issue?
