Hi,

It looks like bqstudio didn't recognize your evm or board on initialization. Only then do you have this issue of manually selecting the gauge. Please make sure that your gauge is powered up and awake. You can do this by either having power on bat and pack side of your board or by shorting the bat and pack+ pin momentarily before opening bqstudio.

Thank you. Another question is how does BQstudio connect to my demo board? USB or RS232?

My demo board MCU is STM32F1, which can communicate with I2C and USB.
