Hi community ,

For anti-reverse protection, I m using a P channel Mosfet and a zener diode mounted between the gate and source.
When power on i know that the intrinsic body diode starts to conduct first then the Mosfet in parallel.
My question is ; with high High recovery current and a large trr , this diode may damage my DC/DC converter ?

Hi MAtt,

I using want to use the LM3492HC for vehicule lightining system,
To protect it from battery reverse i ll use Pchannel mosfet ,
so if the body diode has a high reverse current and large Trr, it can cause damage to my converter ?
