    Hello ACGUY,

    A 500V 5kW single stage buck converter with synchronous rectification is not a practical design because of the peak currents in the power switches.

    These peak currents will cause high switching losses and high ripple currents in the output capacitor.

    Also you will not be able to use the UCC28070 .

    The UCC28070 is a pfc controller and should not be used in a DCDC converter application.
