I'm planning to use BQ34210IPWRQ1 fuel gauge in my design in system configuration along with battery charger. 

Design details are as below,

1. 1 cell 3.7V Li-ion battery 

2. Charge current @400mA

3. Charger used for charging : BQ24075QRGTRQ1

for this fuel gauge IC, does it require learning curve? do i need to provide below circuit in my design for the IC to learn the battery characteristics?

    If your application is a rarely discharged application, to learn EOS you need a controllable load provided by the host. For this you will need the above circuit. Please refer to the DS and TRM for further details on the use of the LEN pin and bit are used.
