Hi Team,

Customer is looking for recommendation on the charger solution.

Would you please recommend the proper solution for charger?

Below is the high-level requirement for the charger IC.

1. Support Li-Poly battery with 1500-2000mAhr capacity, 3.7V nominal, 4.2V Charging Cut-off.

2. 1500mA above charging current (BC 1.2, or PD.)

3. Main chip (uC) USB interface available

Please take a look at the BQ25601D and BQ25606. Up to 3A switching charger with USB detection and NVDC power path management

HI Raheem,
Thanks for your quick reply.
However, customer is not sure if these two models can still cooperate with USB interface of customer's main chip. according to customer feedback, there shall be a switch, as below picture, to make this happen. Would you please explain more if I didn't catch your propose.

The input voltage could be fixed at 5V.
May I know if wider the input voltage range, the higher the price?
