UCC39002: Questions of UCC39002

Part Number: UCC39002

Hi Experts

Sorry for confuse about the ADJ (pin 5) of UCC39002.

Because of ADJ pin_max is only 15V. How to connect it.. Could you please help to provide the reference schematic ?

Seem this ADJ pin connect to Vo side…

In addition, whether have Load share can operate at High side ?

As we knew that Load share was only operate at Low side.

Note: Vo is 54V

  • Hello Han Lee,

You are correct about the voltage rating.

For output voltages greater than  about 12V  the Figure 5 of the data sheet.

The NPN transistor will limit the voltage on the ADJ pin to the voltage set by the value of the midpoint voltage on RBIAS1 and RBIAS2

Yes you can also have the current sense resistor (RSHUNT) on the high side (VOUT+)

To do this you will need a resistive divider on the CS+ and CS- pins.
This will ensure that the max voltage on CS+ and CS- is below 15V and the CS amplifier is configured as a differential sensing amplifier.

The attached drawing gives a schematic view of this concept0676.UCC29002.pdf
