TPS61090: What will be the maximal output current in that connectivity ?

Hi,

When connecting that boost converter with Vin= +1.9v and Vout=5v, what would be the maximal output current can be driven from the Vout ?

Hi Ohad,

TPS61090 switch current limit is 2A. It could generate around 0.5A in Vin=1.9V, Vout=5V condition.

Thanks for the answer,

By the way, it is said in the datasheet the booster provide a power supply solution for products powered by some kind of batteries and It is not mentioned there it can work with a regular electrical P.S.

So can it work with regular electrical P.S or only for batteries ?

There is no problem to use a regular electrical power supply.
